BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to California Highway Patrol - Mojave, at about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, CHP Inyokern Resident Post personnel investigated a fatal hit and run on Bowman Road, east of Brown Road.
According CHP, a Ridgecrest man, Sean Chromi, 44, died and Brian Berry, 47, of Inyokern was severely injured. Officials said that the 44-year-old suspect, Morgyn Dobson of Ridgecrest fled the scene before later being apprehended by law enforcement, treated by medical staff and was eventually booked at the KCSO Central Receiving Facility.
CHP said that Dobson was charged with Felony Manslaughter and Felony Hit and Run.
