BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a car and a bicyclist Tuesday afternoon in east Bakersfield.
On Nov. 28 at 4:08 p.m., CHP responded to a collision between a car and a man on a bike in the area of Pacific and Virginia Streets.
A late 90's green pick up truck was heading eastbound on Pacific Street when they hit the bicyclist, according to CHP.
The bicyclist suffered minor to moderate injuries, CHP said.
The driver of the late 90's green pickup truck took off.
