The California Highway Patrol has begun pacing traffic through the Grapevine due to icy conditions, according to Caltrans officials.
Officials are warning drivers to come prepared for slow traffic and dangerous conditions, including black ice along the mountain passes.
This coming only hours after the Grapevine reopened.

Officials closed the Grapevine for over 36 hours this week. Many stranded in their vehicles and in gas stations along the highway.
Caltrans reminded drivers to following the CHP pacing car if they are making their way through the Grapevine.
The National Weather Service Hanford tweeted on Friday that a Winter Storm Watch would take effect starting Sunday until Tuesday morning for mountain and dessert areas of Kern County.
