CalTrans: NB I-5 reopen after mudslide

Update(11:45pm): NB I-5 is now open according to Caltrans. 

CHP officials received reports at about 6:28 p.m. Sunday of mud, water and rock debris on all lanes of Northbound I-5 just north of Fort Tejon Rd.

Before 7:30 p.m., Officials closed NB I-5 at Parker Rd. and issued a sig-alert.

Officials are forcing all Northbound traffic at Parker Road to turn around and head back south.

According to theCHP Traffic website, water, mud and rocks are across all of the lanes. They also reported that a vehicle is stuck on the number 2 lane.

Back in October, a mudslide closed both parts of I-5 at that same area after a fall storm passed the area.

These images look so fake, even though they're so real! And the 58 was completely ransacked with mud and debris that closed the pass for nearly a week as crews worked to free over 200 vehicles.
