BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident page, SB Highway 99 traffic is currently being diverted on to the Norris Road off-ramp, after a person threatened to jump off the overpass just after 12 p.m. Sunday.

The status on the individual who was on the overpass has not yet been released.

CHP said travelers should expect delays in the area.
