BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: The California Highway Patrol has confirmed at least one death in a car collision that shutdown southbound lanes on Interstate-5 near Gorman Saturday evening.
All lanes are now back open, according to the CHP traffic incident website.
The CHP website does not list how many vehicles or other injuries were involved in this collision.

The California Highway Patrol is shutting down southbound lanes on Interstate 5 near Gorman, for an emergency helicopter, following a collision Saturday evening.
According to the CHP traffic incident website, the helicopter is landing to transport a patient involved in a vehicle collision at about 6:07 p.m.
The website states that a vehicle has overturned in the brush area off the I-5 near Gorman.
