CHP’s Start Smart program is offering a free class to current and prospective teenage drivers today.

The two hour long class discusses issues such as safe driving habits, consequences of poor choices behind the wheel, and tips on how to avoid a collision.

The class starts at 6 p.m. at the CHP 420 Club on Alfred Harrell Highway.
