MCFARLAND, Calif. — CHP is investigating a shooting after they say a suspect fired multiple rounds at a house from the shoulder of southbound SR-99 in McFarland.

According to CHP, the shooting happened in the area of southbound SR-99, south of Sherwood Avenue in McFarland around 12:28 a.m. on Thursday, March 14. CHP says the suspected shooter was on the right shoulder and fired multiple rounds at a nearby residence.
