BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol has scheduled a free Start Smart on Tuesday for teen drivers and their parents.
Officials said the two-hour class teaches the importance of safe driving habits, consequences of a poor choice behind the wheel, and tips on how to avoid a collision.
The free class is scheduled for September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Bakersfield CHP Office located at 9855 Compagnoni Street, Bakersfield.
