The fourth annual Christmas in the neighborhood event was held Dec. 15th at the Bakersfield Police Activities League located at 301 E. 4th St. from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  The free community event has provided Christmas toys to hundreds of low-income families and given them the opportunity to join in the fun at a neighborhood party with food, and entertainment. 

Games, food, booths, a raffle, and more were available to the public for free. Disney characters, Chef Denweed, and Grandma Whoople all made appearances at the event.
