The City of Bakersfield is set to host another meeting for public comment on the development of a new homeless shelter. The meeting is taking place Monday night at the MLK Community Center on South Owens Street.

The public is invited to attend the meeting to comment about the shelter and learn more about the needs of the local homeless population. The city has identified two locations for a new shelter: one on East Brundage Lane and one on Brown Street.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
