DELANO, Calif. — The Delano Police Department is thanking motorists and pedestrians after the city went a full year without a fatal traffic collision.
According to Delano Police, they investigate an average of three to four collisions a year resulting in fatalities and have not reported a fatality from a collision since April 27, 2018.
Delano Police want to remind drivers to keep the roadways safe by calling 911 if they see a suspected impaired driver.
