BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Clinica Sierra Vista, which works as a non-profit clinic, plans to open a new location in the spring of next year in Downtown Bakersfield.

The clinic will have a new design that aims to change the average patient experience.

“We’ve never done something like this before its the process that is really interesting," said Marko Hovart, Clinica Sierra Vista.

The clinic brought patients, community members, and executives to build a three dimensional model of the new clinic, together.

“When you go see the physician it feels like detention. You sit there and you wait, but what if we can change that into recess? You have people and time that we are wasting every single day so what if provided something that was useful to them," said Hovart.

To see the new clinic you can go to the unveiling today at 10 a.m. on 2400 Wible Road.
