Paving and striping work will require nighttime ramp closures at the State Route 58 Union Avenue and H Street/Chester Avenue interchanges for tonight and Sunday night through Tuesday night next week.
Tonight, June 16, the eastbound State Route 58 to Union Avenue off-ramp will be closed between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Eastbound motorists who want to exit at Union Avenue will need to exit at H Street or Cottonwood Road.
On Sunday night, June 19, paving work will require closures for the eastbound State Route 58 to H Street off-ramp and the westbound State Route 58 to Chester Avenue off-ramp between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can exit the freeway at Union Avenue during these closures.
On Monday and Tuesday, the contractor plans to stripe these newly paved areas and move temporary concrete barrier rail during nighttime hours. Motorists are advised to stay alert while traveling through these areas and watch for short-term ramp and lane closures at these interchanges.
