INDIO, Calif. (AP) -- High winds are expected in Southern California's mountains and deserts this week that could impact Coachella attendees.

Coachella tweeted on Wednesday that the opening of campgrounds for weekend two has been pushed back from Thursday to 3 a.m. Friday, which is when the high wind warning is expected to expire.

Coachella is encouraging attendees to delay their travel plans for their safety.
