COACHELLA, Calif. — According to a document released by the county of Riverside, effective Friday, the Stagecoach County Music Festival and the Coachella Arts and Music Festival have been canceled.
According to the document, the Public Health Officer of Riverside County, Dr. Cameron Kaiser, ordered this cancellation due to the worldwide epidemic, COVID-19.
Dr. Kaiser projects there will be a fall resurgence of the virus, and has ordered these festivals canceled as a precaution and for the health and safety of the community.
Coachella and Stagecoach were canceled in 2020, also due to the coronavirus pandemic.
