Heavy flooding has been reported on Columbus Street in Northeast Bakersfield, police said Friday evening.
Bakersfield Police were called to the 3800 block of Columbus St. at around 8:30 p.m., where they found flooding in the roadway from an unknown water source.
Officers reported that the water may be knee-deep to shin-deep in some areas, a Bakersfield lieutenant told 23ABC News.
Bakersfield Fire crews are also at the scene.
