BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Smooth jazz will be emanating from southwest Bakersfield this evening as the Concerts by the Fountain series rolls on. Thursday you'll get a chance to listen to contemporary jazz fusion with the Jay Smith Group.

The concert is happening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the main fountain at The Marletplace on Ming Avenue.

The concert is free for everyone.
