The overpass that would connect Highway 99 and Hosking Road should be complete by early 2016.

But before that traffic in the southwest is alleviated, the project will first need some concrete building blocks.

On Monday morning, crews will pour concrete on the north side of the overpass, a process that should take eight hours. 

Right now officials don't have a date in place for when they'll pour concrete on the south side of the project. But they say the project, which will have on and off ramps to and from Hosking will be ready in early 2016.
