This week, TJ Cox and other representatives such as Costa, Harder, and the California Republican congressional delegation penned a letter to the EPA pushing for a thorough review of the state's water quality standards.
In the letter, Cox expressed how farmers and ranchers need quality water resources in order to maintain and feed their families.
The congressman stated:
"I'm proud to stand with the Central Valley Democrats and the full California Republican House delegation to demand that our farmers and ranchers receive the water they need to put food on America's tables. Water is the life blood of the Central Valley, and I'm going to continue to fight to ensure that our producers get the resources they deserve."
