United States Representative Kevin McCarthy will be taking part in the 'Save Water Drink Wine' event put on by the Kern County Farm Bureau. 

The event will take place on Wednesday August 16th at the Bakersfield Country Club. Cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. and painting begins at 6 p.m. 

Representative McCarthy will paint on a canvas which will then be auctioned off at Bounty of Kern County on October 28. The proceeds will benefit the Kern County Farm Bureau. 

The event is $20 for Kern County Farm Bureau members to attend and $25 for non-members.
