The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control on State Route 155 in Kern County for roadway maintenance.
The following lane closure will occur, weather permitting:
- One-way traffic control will occur on State Route 155 between Pala Ranches Drive and Wofford Boulevard from Monday, October 10 between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Motorists may experience delays of approximately 10 minutes during peak traffic times.
- One-way traffic control will occur on State Route 155 between Alta Sierra to just west of Granite Station Road from Tuesday, October 11 to Friday, October 14 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day. Motorists may experience delays of approximately 10 minutes during peak traffic times.
Maintenance crews will be conducting one-way traffic control at this location and during the work hours listed above with the use of a pilot car and flagging personnel through the work zone. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to construction vehicles and personnel at all times.
This closure may continue for longer periods of time if necessary, due to delays caused by uncontrollable events that may occur during maintenance. Motorists may experience delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes whenever possible.
