Construction on Rosedale Highway will continue on Thursday as crews work on the widening project.

Traffic will be affected even more as some areas will be the main focus of this project throughout the week.

Construction on this project will switch from outside of the highway to the median. 

In preparation, traffic will have to shift from the inside lanes to the outside lanes in both directions. 

This will happen all along Rosedale Highway in three stages over the next few days.

Today crews will focus on the section from wedding lane to Fruitvale Avenue. 

On Friday, they'll work on Rosedale Highway from Fruitvale Avenue to Mohawk Street. 

On Tuesday, they'll work on the section from Mohawk Street to Camino Del Rio court.

When it's all said and done, Rosedale Highway will have six lanes making traffic in this area move a whole lot smoother.

Crews hope to have all of this work completed in the fall.
