The Consul of Mexico from Fresno David Preciado came to Bakersfield to tour the town Tuesday and meet those in Kern County that he represents.
The main topic of concern was immigration reform, especially in the wake of Donald Trump being elected president and his campaign promise to build a wall along the border between the U.S. and Mexico.
Preciado was greeted with a special welcome reception featuring several live music performances.
