Containment reaches 60% for KNP Complex Fire

(KERO) — The U.S. Forest Service said the KNP Complex Fire reached 60% containment as of Wednesday morning.

Forest Service officials say Tuesday's snowfall helped cover 60% to 70% of the fire.

The blaze which started after a lightning strike on Sept. 10th covers 88,278 acres.
