The Kern County Coroner has identified a victim of a heat related death in Central Bakersfield on Friday, August 3, 2018. 

According to deputies, 23-year-old Rene Majano was found unresponsive at Brundage Lane and V Street just after 5 p.m. He was transported to the hospital where he was declared deceased.

After a postmortem examination, the cause of death is probable hyperthermia and the manner is accident.
