The Kern County Coroner has identified the body of a man found near China Grade Loop in Oildale as 57-year-old Michael John.

John was found dead at the scene on September 20 near 600 China Grade Loop just after noon.

A postmortem investigation will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
