The Kern County Coroner has identified the man who was found dead in the Kern Island Canal at Mill Creek Park in July. 

After completing an investigation, the coroner said that the cause of death is drowning and the manner is an accident.

Patrick Ramond Anderson OKeefe, 26, was found deceased in the canal just after 2 a.m. on July 5, 2018.
