BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a homicide in Lamont, early Monday morning.

According to officials, 17-year-old Thomas Noe Romero was found near 10400 Velma Avenue in Lamont with traumatic injuries.

Romero died at the scene at approximately 1:47 a.m. Following a postmortem examination, the cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner was homicide.
