The Kern County Coroner has identified a man found dead near Wayside Park on Tuesday, October 9. 

According to Bakersfield Police, 20-year-old Jose Fermin Davalos was found deceased near 1200 Ming Avenue in his vehicle. He was found at approximately 6:35 a.m. and pronounced dead on scene.

A postmortem examination will be performed to determine the cause and manner of his death.
