The Kern County Coroner has identified the body of a man who was involved in a traffic fatality on Saturday, September 29 at 9:30 p.m.
According to officials, 55-year-old Gilbert Lorta was the operator of a vehicle that collided with another on the 184, north of Mountain View Road.
A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
