BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a pedestrian fatality on Monday, January 7.

According to officials, 31-year-old Joshua Dean Cherry was struck by a vehicle on SB SR-14, north of Rosamond Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m. and died at the scene.

A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death.
