The Kern County coroner has identified the victim of a traffic fatality in Rosamond, California on Thursday, October 18.

61-year-old Steven Edward Sprinkle was the operator of a vehicle that collided with another vehicle on Sierra Highway, north of Avenue A in Rosamond at 8:30 p.m. He died at the scene from his injuries.

A postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
