The Kern County coroner has identified the victim of a McFarland traffic fatality that happened on Friday, November 23.
30-year-old Alonso Ornelas-Garcia of Shafter was the operator of a vehicle that crashed on SR 99 and Perkins Avenue in McFarland just before midnight.
Ornelas-Garcia died from his injuries at the scene and a postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
