The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a traffic fatality on Mil Potrero Highway on Thursday, October 11.

30-year-old Nadine Linley Mae Kennedy has been identified as the operator of a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a tree just east of Beechwood Way in Pine Mountain Club. Officials said that she died at the scene just before 9:30 a.m.

A postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of her death.
