The Kern County coroner has identified the victim of a traffic fatality that happened on Poso Drive and Western Avenue in Wasco on Wednesday, November 21.
83-year-old Billy Ray Cole was the operator of a vehicle that was struck by another at the above location at approximately 12:05 p.m.
He died at the scene from his injuries and a postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
