WOFFORD HEIGHTS, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a traffic fatality in Wofford Heights on Tuesday morning.

According to officials, 55-year-old Vincent Paul Baioni was the operator of a car that crashed into an SUV on the 155 west of Air Force Way in Wofford Heights just before 10 a.m.

Baioni died at the scene from his injuries. A postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
