The Kern County Coroner has identified two victims of a deadly crash that occurred in Delano on Tuesday.
25-year-old Serena Nicole Ferrel and 56-year-old Raul Hinojosa Sr. were in a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a tree. Ferrel was the operator of the vehicle, while Hinojosa Sr. was a passenger.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. on the Southbound 99, just south of Woollomes Avenue.
A postmortem examination will be performed on both victims to confirm the cause and manner of their deaths.
