The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in the 1000 block of 16th Street in Wasco on New Year's Eve.

The man was identified as 43-year old Ismael Delgado-Ramirez.
At around 10:15 P.M. on December 31st, 2015, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 16th Street in Wasco for a gunshot victim. Deputies found an adult male victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical Center in critical condition. Delgado-Ramirez died from his injuries January 3rd, 2016. No arrests have been made. KCSO has asked anyone with information to contact the sheriff's office at 661-861-3110 or secret witness 661-322-4040.
