A woman who was struck and killed while crossing the street over the weekend has been identified by the Coroner as 61-year-old Pamela Mingus.

Mingus was crossing at 18th Street and Cedar Street in Central Bakersfield when a vehicle struck her. She was transported to the hospital where she later died.
