BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner's office has identified a victim involved in a deadly shooting in Northeast Bakersfield.

BPD says they were dispatched to a home in the 2800 block of Fordham Street near Columbus Street around 7 p.m. on April 26 where they found 36-year-old Enrique Meza Guadron suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. According to officials, Guadron was pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial reports say that when officers first arrived at the home they found another victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard of the home. That victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.

A postmortem examination will be conducted on Guadron to confirm the exact cause and manner of death.
