The cost of the Erskine Fire to date is said to be $22.6 million, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The fire, which has burned 48,019 acres, is currently 95% contained. There are currently 146 total personnel battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire crews say that they'll continue mop-up operations as needed and that smoldering stumps within the fire's perimeter could generate smoke for the next several days.

A community meeting will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Wallace Middle School in Lake Isabella. Officials will present final statistics and thoughts on the fire and answer any questions the public might have.
