Kern County Counsel Theresa Goldner notified members of the Kern County Board of Supervisors that she is resigning from her position effective Monday, November 7.

Assistant County Counsel Mark Nations will assume Goldner's duties until action is taken by the Board of Supervisors regarding the vacancy.

Goldner was appointed as County Counsel in 2009.
