Court documents released on Wednesday unveil new information about the night the suspect in a deadly crash was arrested.
Franklin Juarez, 24, tried to flee the scene the night of a deadly accident on Taft Highway over the weekend, according to court documents obtained by 23ABC.
The crash killed Angel Mulley, 20, near Akers Road Sunday night.
The documents said after crashing into Mulley's car, Juarez hid behind a tractor in a dirt field before being found by police officers and arrested.
Juarez was eventually taken into custody and now faces several charges including vehicular manslaughter, possessing a stolen vehicle and hit and run causing death.
Juarez will be back in court on October 27.
