The predominantly southern chain, Cowboy Chicken, is opening a location in Bakersfield.
This restaurant offers southern dishes, chicken sandwiches, and most importantly rotisserie chicken.
Some other menu items include: fresh salads, enchiladas, sides, and family style meals.

According to the website, "Our recipes have stood the test of time and remain bold, simple and natural. Our wood-fired, hand-carved rotisserie chicken is worthy of the most trail-hardened cowboy."
It is unknown when this new restaurant will be opening, but the sign on the building says "coming soon."
This will be the first location in California, along with another one coming soon to Fresno and San Diego.
