A crash on the I-5 southbound in the Grapevine, near Pyramid Lake, is causing delays for drivers heading to Los Angeles.

The accident involved a big rig and a car. Right now the California Highway Patrol has issued a sigalert for drivers in the area. Officers expect the right three lanes to be closed until 7:30 a.m.

The accident is by the Vista Del Lago Road exit near Pyramid Lake. Drivers are encouraged to move to the left and expect major slowing once they pass the Hwy 138 interchange south of Kern County.
