Arson investigators are working to determine what caused a Kern County Probation building to catch fire Friday morning.

According to Bakersfield Fire officials, the building caught fire just before 4 a.m. in the area of Baker and Eureka streets. 

BFD officials say someone threw something through a window. It's not known if the object was already on fire or if it led to the fire. 

No injuries were reported.
