This morning fire crews continue to work to contain a brush fire burning east of Gorman in LA County.

The Ridge Fire started Monday afternoon near the community of Neenach. At last check, LA County fire crews reported the fire at 310 acres but do have it 40 percent contained.

Highway 138 has been shut down in both directions as crews continue to battle the blaze.
