TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Kern County Fire Department crews are battling a vegetation fire in Tehachapi that sparked up at about 4:23 p.m. Sunday.

According to KCFD, the fire is burning in the area of 21750 Westwood Boulevard, near Red Apple and Century Oaks avenues.

KCFD has not confirmed if anyone is injured or if any structures have been destroyed.

It is unclear how many acres have burned so far.
