BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The CSU Bakersfield Nursing Department is looking to get middle school and high school students interested in a career in health by hosting a health careers conference.
The Kern County Health Careers Conference will give students exposure to a variety of careers in the health industry, including nursing, physical therapy, social work, and more. Presenters will also share average salaries, education and training needed, and what an average day looks like in that field.
The Kern County Health Careers Conference will be held on Saturday, March 9 at the Bakersfield High School Harvey Auditorium in Central Bakersfield from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conference is free and open to the public.
